Step 1: Fill the Soil Cup with potting soil.
Step 2: Add half a cap of Osmocote fertilizer, then mix it into the soil.
Step 3: Plant 2 cucumber seeds to ensure germination.
Step 4: If using your own bucket, drill a small drainage hole 1 inch above the handle. Note: Our buckets come pre-drilled for your convenience.
Step 5: Fill the 5-Gallon Bucket with water up to the pre-drilled drainage hole.
Step 6: Place the Soil Cup on top of the water reservoir bucket.
Step 7: Fully hydrate the soil inside the Soil Cup until excess water runs out of the bucket's drainage hole.
Step 8: Cover the top of the soil with plastic to prevent evaporation while the seed is germinating.
