Step 1: Fill the Soil Cup with potting soil.
Step 2: Moisten the soil in the Soil Cup.
Step 3: Create a 1-inch deep hole in the center and plant 2 to 3 seeds.
Step 4: If you're using your own bucket, drill a tiny drainage hole 1 inch above the handle. Our buckets come predrilled for your convenience.
Step 5: Fill the 5-Gallon Bucket with water up to the drainage hole.
Step 6: Position the Soil Cup on top of the 5-Gallon Bucket in the shade to keep the seeds from drying out.
Step 7: Once the seeds have germinated, thin out to only 1 seedling in the center hole.
Step 8: Move the Tomato Bucket to an area with direct sunlight.
Step 9: One month after planting, add a tablespoon of Osmocote fertilizer to boost growth.
Step 10: Water the bok choy until excess water exits from the drainage hole.
